奥特斯重庆开启首届员工学历教育项目
2021年9月23日，奥特斯科技（重庆）有限公司2021年首届员工学历教育项目开学典礼隆重举行，这是奥特斯重庆首次携手重庆文理学院和重庆信息技术职业学院，资助员工继续学历教育。
奥特斯全球移动设备及半导体封装载板事业部CEO潘正锵(PHUA Chen-Jiang)表示：“奥特斯在重庆10年间，培养了一批跟随公司成长起来的基层员工，他们传承和践行工匠精神，精益求精地为客户和中国市场提供高品质的产品，让奥特斯在日益激烈的竞争环境中，始终立于不败之地。智能制造已成为全球制造业发展趋势，是新一轮工业革命的核心技术。智能制造让产业工人摆脱重复性枯燥的工作，也对于员工的技能和素质提出了更高的要求。奥特斯通过继续教育和给予员工充分地国际化经验，培养本地化高质量人才的同时，助推重庆智能制造和半导体产业发展，为重庆经济发展做出新的贡献。”

The opening ceremony of the first Employee Continuing Educational Program of AT&S Chongqing was held on September 23, 2021. It is the first time for AT&S Chongqing to sponsor employee further education in collaboration with Chongqing University of Arts & Sciences and Chongqing Information Technology College.
The total of 168 employees are enrolled, including 90 for university degree courses with the major of Computer Science and Technology and 78 for college diploma courses with the major in Software Technology. It will take them two and a half years to complete all the courses, while those who successfully pass the examinations will be granted certificates. The opening ceremony was witnessed by the AT&S management team, officials from Liangjiang New Area, Yufu Industrial Park, Jiangbei District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, as well as local media.
CJ Phua, AT&S BU MS CEO, delivered his remarks at the event: "the 2021 marks the milestone of our 10 years journey in Chongqing. We are happy to have a group of employees who are dedicated and have grown up with AT&S. Smart manufacturing allows frontline employees to no longer need to engage in repetitive work, while, at the same time, places higher demands on their skillsets. We invest in high-quality talents through providing them with continuing educational opportunities and international experiences in order to widen their career pathways, further boost the development of intelligent manufacturing and semiconductor industry in Chongqing, and make new contributions to Chongqing''s economic development.”
Bai Chengliang (Vice Dean of School of Continuing Education of Chongqing University of Arts & Sciences) and Yang Jiqiong (Vice Dean of Chongqing Information Technology College) attended the launching ceremony, and expressed their expectations to maintain long-term and in-depth cooperation with AT&S, actively promote the construction of innovative education and training system while cultivating high-quality talents for enterprises, to achieve a win-win situation.
AT&S attaches great importance to the personal growth and development of employees. Since 2014, AT&S has been leading the manufacturing sites in Shanghai in supporting employees'' education on a large scale. In 2021, as AT&S continues to expand its production capacity and upgrade its technologies in China, the company decided to extend the project from Shanghai to Chongqing. AT&S is committed to providing opportunities to the eligible employee by equipping them with the continuing higher education, to support industry upgrade and smart manufacturing development.
